Emmanuel Jesse Jackson Sarkodie is a Project Coordinator for Indigenous Women Empowerment Network (IWEN Ghana) since March 2023. Jess is a nutritionist who holds a BSc in Community Nutrition from the University for Development Studies.
He finished his mandatory national service at the Manhyia Government Hospital in Kumasi, where he worked as the District Nutrition Officer. Six months later, he began working for the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly's nutrition department. He has participated in many symposiums and seminars that NGOs and the Ghana Health Service have sponsored.
Jesse later served as a Project Officer for the Growing Healthy Food, Growing Healthy Children Project at Self-Help International from 2016 to 2019. He joined the Japanese International Corporation Agency (JICA) in 2020 as a Project Assistant for their Maternal and Child Health Record Book project.
