Ms Celestina Andoh

Ms Celestina Andoh is indigenous women’s rights activist, with more than six years’ working experience in health and advocacy. She holds B.Sc. in Psychology from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana, Certificate in Travel and Tourism from Global Institute of Aviation.

Currently, she is a Co-founder and Executive Director of the Indigenous Women Empowerment Network Ghana, indigenous women human rights advocacy organization that work to bring forth the voices of indigenous women in decision-making in order to have a just and gender sensitive society where all work together for a common goal in which indigenous women participate fully in matters affecting them.

She serves as a voice for the vulnerable indigenous young women in deprived communities and empower them economically, socially and politically to take charge of their own lives. She is always engaging unemployed indigenous young people for guidance and counselling. She provides social entrepreneurship among the rural poor and marginalized indigenous women and girls for an enhanced livelihood. Ms Andoh's passion is to see that indigenous women, especially young people in Ghana are economically, socially and politically empowered to reduce government dependency for jobs.
